A few years later Quake III: Gold was released which included both the original Quake III Arena and the Quake III: Team Arena expansion pack bundled together. The single player mode of the game consists of the same thing against computer controlled bots. The game ends when a player or team reaches a specified score, or when the time limit has been reached.
